During Fund Raising Activities

The Project Manager Mr. Ali Egal Aden on the site for fund raising

Fund raising is a valuable part of our activities in order to strengthen the aims of our charity organisation. Cash and non-cash contributions are needed by our Non-Government Organisation (NGO) in order to be able to carry out our desired and planned activities for the children in Africa. The obtaining of resources is therefore a desired and honourable task; fund raisers should be acknowledged and praised. Fund raising is a job to which all should contribute, and for which all should be responsible. It is in this perspective that Salicaf Foundation carries out fund raising activities during the important event of International Music Festival of August 2017 in Sefton Park, Liverpool where the Project Manager (PM) was working hard in order to collect sufficient money for the objectives of the Foundation but unfortunately the rain did not allow Mr Aden and his team.We urge each and every person all over the world who would like to invest in children in Africa to visit regularly the website of Salicaf Foundation (Save the Life of Children in Africa Foundation) and see what you might be interested in, in occurence the activities carried out every day by our staff. You can join our team; you can donate whatever you can to invest in vulnerable children in Africa.

Two (2) years old boy Diafarou Diallo

originally from Guinea Conakry

was suffering from heart disease and died from suffocation on 24/03/2017

Salicaf Foundation has tried to save his life but unfortunately he passed away before things got ready for him although we were at the last stage of his help.

We have been contacted via e-mail by the parents of Diafarou Diallo urging for help for their child. We have been informed by them that they took their child to many hospitals in different countries in Africa but because of lack of heart operation specialists and appropriate equipments, the hospitals administrations in Africa told them to send their child to heart specialist in Europe. We then asked them to send the medical documentations over to us in Liverpool. We went to see the department dealing with heart proplem in children hospital in Liverpool. The comittee in charge that we met asked an updated medical documentations of the vulnerable boy.

picture of Diafarou Diallo We then sent our project Manager Mr. Aden to Guinea to evaluate the importance of the sickness of the boy. (see photo on the left with Diafarou and her mother in Guinea). After he visited the family he confirmed the seriousness of the sikness. In view of the seriousness of the heart problem of the boy we asked the parents to send us the updated medical documentations of the boy that the children hospital requested. They took Diafarou to the hospital for updated medical examinations that Liverpool Alder Hey Children Hospital required. After they got the updated medical documentations (11 pages including X-ray results, BCG test etc…) they sent them over to us in Liverpool while our Project Manager was still there in Guinea. We took them immediately to Alder-Children Hospital after translations were made. One week after, we received an e-mail from the hospital that they will not admit the boy although they are the one who asked for the updated medical documentations of the boy and although they have been told that the parents went to many hospitals in Africa but the doctors said they cannot do the operation because of lack of specialists of heart and appropriate instruments. We went to the hospital again with an appeal letter asking to review their decision. We then received an e-mail stating that we should not waist our time coming to the hospial. As we have never taught to be let down by Adler children hospital, we've never taught about another hospital and because this happened so, we then sent an e-mail to Children Hospital in Birmingham regarding the problem of the boy. They have accepted to do the operation and we asked them to send the cost of the operation to us. While expecting to receive the cost, we received an e-mail from the parents of the boy in Guinea that their son passed-away on 24th March 2017 in Guinea. This was very sad news for us as we were so determined to do fundraising to save the life of this vulnerable child. We even have already sent many letters to several mosques in Manchester, London, Bolton, Birmingham and Leicester applying for a day fundraising within their Mosque for the chirurgical heart operation of the 2 years old boy in the United Kingdom, Birmingham. We were constituing two complete files with all medical documentations of the boy to send to David Beckham's Charity and Elton John's Charity applying for the save of life of this vulnerable boy. We were sure they will help the boy to survive. Unfortunately Diafarou passed-away. We e-mailed children hospital in Liverpool to inform them about the death of the boy but we did not receive any reply from them. We also infomed the children hospital in Birmingham to stop the process. We have done many activities but the case of the 2 years old boy retained infinitely our attention and we are delighted to publish it.

HELP US PROVIDE CHILDREN IN AFRICA WITH FOOD, CLOTHING, SHELTER, EDUCATION AND HEALTH

SPONSOR THE CHILDREN AND BE PROUD OF YOURSELF BECAUSE YOU ARE HUMAN BY SAVING THEIR LIVES

Why should we give charity

People always think twice before given to charity organisations. Over recent years there has been a number of disturbing stories in the social media about charities wasting money. This fact depends on the visions of the charity organisation. They cannot waist money if they have a good and reel plan of reaching their charitable aims. Most of Charities such as Salicaf Foundation has a reel plan for children and used to send their project Manager on the ground to make sure that goods are reaching the needy and come back with concrete aspirations of the children which is planned for next convoy.

Consequence of the art of giving

Giving come from the heart of an individual. It is something that is inexplicable. A donation is a gift something that is enjoyable twice. Both the giver and the receiver are full of joy. The giver feel to have done something positive in his or her life to somebody he or she does not know which remains indelible in his/her mind. The receiver always remembers this action and tries to do the same or even better for another person. This spreads positivism in the mankind. The art of giving is also a manner of extending the life of children, to give them new life by providing them with what they need.

Personal benefit of giving charity

Given charity helps one ’s self and the needy. In every religion it is recommended to give charity because this cleans the negative spiritual waves from the person, develop in him the spirit of doing things positively, the pity and deep joy in his or her conscious and subconscious as well as clearly of the road before the person. That means the future of the person become brighter than ever before. It helps make things happen and allow the advance of the programs to be achieved successfuly for the needy. The giver is delighted to have done something for the mankind and the person remains unforgetable.

The clock is ticking for saving the children

Africa children are the most vulnerable children exposed to all type of problems. Incurable diseases because of lack of money, unable to attend school because the parents are very poor, forced to hard works at very young age like farm work in order to get something back home for the whole family, girls at age 14 or 15 are forced to get married because the parents cannot afford continuing taking care of them. Shelters, sanitation and clothing are deplorable. Your donation will help to solve these problems. Your donation will help to build school for children and build up their career for better future.
